Fawn Wood
Fawn Is a singer/performing/recording artist of the Plains Cree and Salish people. Her music reflects her background and truths as not only an indigenous person but a nehiyaw skwew. With a career that has spanned almost 20 years, Fawn has won numerous awards and has travelled all over North America to share the grassroots music from treaty 6 territory.
Fawn has three solo albums released. Her latest “Kakike” winning her a JUNO Award for best traditional artist, or group. Her songs speak of honesty, humility, humor, sadness and happiness in life’s truths.
